Before you order

Two things cause almost all delivery problems: an incomplete address and nobody at home. A five-line address with a PIN code and a reachable mobile number is enough to avoid both.

Full courier terms

The sections below are the published customer terms of our courier partner, Trackon, restated here so you can see exactly what sits behind the delivery promise above.

01Booking & addresses

Every parcel is booked with complete sender and receiver details — name, mobile number, full delivery address and PIN code. Please check your address before you confirm the order; a wrong PIN code is the single most common cause of delay.

You are responsible for declaring the nature, quantity and approximate value of the goods at booking.

Some shipments may be subject to service availability, route restrictions and operational limits.

02Packaging

All articles must be packed securely, in packaging suitable for the goods and for how they will be handled in transit.

Liquid, fragile and high-value items need internal protection and clear labelling. Poor or thin packaging can reduce the carrier’s ability to accept a damage claim — so if a parcel arrives damaged, the packaging is the first thing that gets examined.

03Weight, dimensions & extra charges

Shipping charges may be calculated on actual weight, volumetric (dimensional) weight, or the billing method in force when you booked.

If a parcel is re-weighed or re-measured during processing and the chargeable weight differs from what was declared, extra freight or handling charges can arise.

If you disagree with a weight adjustment, ask support for the measurement record or the parcel image, subject to operational availability.

04Prohibited & restricted articles

We cannot tender articles prohibited by law or by the carrier’s operating rules. These include dangerous goods, explosives, illegal drugs, firearms and ammunition, hazardous chemicals, counterfeit goods, live animals, and perishable articles without an approved arrangement.

The sender remains responsible for ensuring the contents comply with applicable law and declaration requirements.

05Delivery attempts

Delivery is attempted at the address and contact details you supply. The receiver may be contacted by the delivery team for directions or verification.

Delivery can be delayed by an incorrect or incomplete address, the receiver being unavailable, non-response, route restrictions, weather, natural events, operational disruption, or regulatory requirements.

If delivery cannot be completed, the parcel may be held, re-attempted, returned to origin, or otherwise handled under the applicable service arrangement.

06Tracking

Keep your AWB / consignment number — you will need it for any tracking or support request.

Tracking reflects scans recorded in the courier network and may not update at every stage. A gap between scans does not by itself mean a parcel is lost; contact support if a parcel has not moved beyond the expected service period.

07Delay, loss & investigation

If a parcel is delayed, missing or suspected lost, raise a formal request with the AWB number and the shipment details.

Investigation may require shipment documents, booking details, invoice or value proof, receiver information and other records.

Any liability, compensation or settlement is subject to the applicable service agreement, declared value, booking terms, applicable law and the investigation findings.

08Damage & shortage claims

Please look at the outside of the package on delivery where it is reasonably possible to do so.

Report visible damage, tampering or shortage promptly, with photographs, the packaging and the shipment details. Keep the original packaging and contents until the investigation is closed.

Claims are subject to verification and the contractual terms.

09Proof of delivery

Proof of delivery may include the delivery date, receiver details, signature or other electronic confirmation, depending on the service used.

To request a copy, give us the AWB / consignment number.

10Returned & undelivered parcels

A parcel may be returned to origin where delivery cannot be completed because of an incorrect address, receiver refusal, repeated unsuccessful attempts, non-availability, non-response, a restricted destination, or another operational reason.

Return-to-origin and re-delivery charges may be recoverable according to the agreed tariff or service terms.

11Charges, taxes & duties

Freight, handling, fuel, remote-area, re-attempt, return-to-origin and volumetric-weight adjustments, taxes and other applicable charges may apply depending on the shipment and service.

Any statutory duties, taxes or destination charges are payable by the relevant party as required by law or the agreed shipping arrangement.

12Grievances

For any shipment-related complaint, please send the AWB / consignment number, booking date, sender and receiver details, and a clear description of the issue.

Write to us and we will raise it with Trackon on your behalf. Trackon also publishes its own grievance channel, which we will point you to if you would rather approach them directly.

13Policy changes

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect operational, legal, regulatory or service changes.

Where a separate written service agreement or specific booking terms apply, those terms govern to the extent of any inconsistency with this page.

Need to raise something? Email care@gohonest.in or call+91 82081 68838 with your AWB number and we will take it from there. Returns are covered separately on the Returns page.
