Is this oil cold squeezed?
Yes. Seeds are squeezed — not crushed — in a hydraulic press at room temperature, with no friction heat. No water, chemicals or solvents are added; moisture is removed from the seeds before pressing.
How is this different from lakdi ghana or expeller oil?
Lakdi ghana and expeller methods crush the seed, add water to extract oil and create friction heat. We squeeze with a hydraulic press at room temperature, add nothing and remove moisture — for cleaner colour, better aroma and shelf life, with nutrients intact.
Can I use it for deep frying?
Yes, within its smoke point. Ours are: Groundnut 160–180°C · Sunflower 107–160°C · Safflower 107–160°C · Coconut 175–177°C · Mustard 180–230°C · Sesame 160–177°C. Stay below the low end of that range for deep frying; going well past it is what breaks the oil down and starts it smoking.
Where are the seeds sourced from?
Groundnut: Solapur and Gujarat · Coconut: Pollachi, Tamil Nadu · Sesame: Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat · Mustard: Rajasthan · Sunflower: Baramati · Safflower: Latur and Karnataka. Each batch records its own source — batch 07SE26A, for example, is G20 groundnut from Solapur.
How should I store it, and how long does it keep?
Cool, dark place, away from the stove, cap tight. Unopened shelf life is 9 months from the manufacturing date.
How do I know what is in the bottle?
Nothing but the seed. Every oil is a single ingredient — for example coconut oil is coconut kernel, nothing else. Composition was independently tested by FHHL Pvt. Ltd., Pune (NABL/ULR TC-5931): batch FHHL/2511/0174, reported 15 November 2025.

How fast is delivery? Is shipping free?
Delivery in 3–5 working days across India, free on orders over ₹1050, shipped and tracked via Trackon. Full terms on the Shipping page.
What is your return policy?
Oils are food, so we don’t take returns once an order is confirmed. If your order arrives damaged, missing an item or spoiled, email care@gohonest.in within 2 days of delivery (with an unboxing video) and we’ll replace it. Full details on the Returns page.
How does Subscribe & Save work?
Every 4 weeks, save 10%, skip or cancel anytime. Subscription applies to the 250 ml, 500 ml and 1 L sizes only.
Which oils do you make, and in what sizes?
Six cold squeezed oils: groundnut, sunflower, safflower, coconut, sesame and mustard — each in 250 ml, 500 ml, 1 L, 5 L and 15 L. That is 30 pack sizes.
